Field Promotion
I was just contacted by my team captain for the OCL that I have been promoted to board 1 from my board 2 position for the rest of the winter tournament and for the spring tournament, which is coming up. Thank you to my captain, Lamtarra, for the vote of confidence. I hope to do our team proud.

What is your elo?
Thank you, both! I attribute my successes to about 33% tactics, 33% strategy, and 34% dumb luck!
Margriet, my elo is only 1479 OTB, but it is 1708 FICS. At my best, I can play about a 1900 elo game. At my worst, well, I can play sub-1100. I've been working on developing a consistent, quality game whenever I play, and so have been concentrating on my thought process first and tactics second. However, I haven't yet tackled the correct thought process although I know I'm pretty close....
