So far, what do you think of CET (I assume that means Chess endgame trainer)? At what level player is it aimed? Maybe I'll use it for a post-circle...
Are these circle things still the de la Meza stuff?
It's good, but it's not a beginner level course. Convekta has another software that offers more verbose explanations of the endgame. It's called Theory and Practice of Chess Endings. I made the decision to jump to CET, because I feel that I already have that groundwork.
The problems are not easy. You cannot choose to work just the level 10 problems. You have to go by theme. They range in difficulty from level 10 to (at least) level 110 (elo 2550 difficulty). But, you do learn the little "tricks" of the particular situations. Color square and arrows show you the idea behind the problem.
The Christoper,
Yes, I'm trying to apply the De La Mazan idea to endgames.
